People are understandably hyped up for the premiere of The Boys Season 2. So what is there to look forward to in the new season of the Amazon Prime series? The official synopsis for the second season reveals that there will be a conflict between Homelander and new superhero Stormfront.
It's no secret that Stormfront's introduction isn't going to be a welcome one for Homelander. In the first teaser for The Boys Season 2, the leader of the Seven was clearly pissed off when he learns that a new member was added without his knowledge. Needless to say, the official description for the second season confirms that Homelander isn't happy about working with the new Supe.
The synopsis for The Boys Season 2 is listed below.
"The even more intense, more insane Season 2 finds The Boys on the run from the law, hunted by the Supes, and desperately trying to regroup and fight back against Vought. In hiding, Hughie (Jack Quaid), Mother's Milk (Laz Alonso), Frenchie (Tomer Capon) and Kimiko (Karen Fukuhara) try to adjust to a new normal, with Butcher (Karl Urban) nowhere to be found. Meanwhile, Starlight (Erin Moriarty) must navigate her place in The Seven as Homelander (Antony Starr) sets his sights on taking complete control. His power is threatened with the addition of Stormfront (Aya Cash), a social media-savvy new Supe, who has an agenda of her own. On top of that, the Supervillain threat takes center stage and makes waves as Vought seeks to capitalize on the nation's paranoia."
Although it sounds like the two Supes will not be getting along at first, the official trailer also revealed that they might eventually learn to work together. Needless to say, this is going to be a tough thing to deal with in the second season.
The Boys Season 2 premieres on Amazon Prime on September 4.
