Fans certainly can't wait for the second season of The Boys. Luckily, we now have more glimpses at what going to happen in Season 2. The new stills from the Amazon Prime series reveal that the Supes actually held a funeral for Translucent. In addition to that, there's an obvious tension between Homelander and Starlight.

The new photos from The Boys Season 2 were shared by Netflix and one of the more interesting images reveal that the Seven decided to address Translucent's disappearance. The still confirms that the Supes decided to give their former member an elaborate funeral with an obviously empty casket.

Viewers who saw the first season are well aware of what happened to Translucent, thanks to Hughie's actions. Although his remains were sent to Vought, the Seven are clearly keeping up with the charade that he stayed invisible even in death.

Another image reveals how Homelander isn't doing very well in dealing with Starlight. The photo shows the two holding hands with smiles on their faces but fans know that this is Homelander's fake smile. Could this mean that the villain still doesn't trust Starlight? We'll find out for sure when The Boys Season 2 premieres in September.
