The Boys Season 2 Premiere Date Revealed in Cool New Teaser

It has been a long wait but we're finally getting The Boys Season 2. A new teaser has just confirmed that the second season of the Amazon Prime series will finally premiere this September.

The teaser opens with the Vought PR guy pitching a new ad to The Seven. We get several glimpses at the superheroes who are clearly bored with the idea but new addition Stormfront (Aya Cash) is loving it. The teaser then confirms the show's return date. Check it out below.

Although the teaser is now available on the official The Boys Twitter account, it originally premiered during the virtual reunion of the cast hosted by new cast member Patton Oswalt. During the online discussion, executive producer Eric Kripke also showed off the first three minutes of the premiere episode which immediately confirmed that Vought International is far from slowing down since the death of Madelyn Stillwell.

Kripke also revealed that only the first three episodes of The Boys Season 2 will be available on the premiere. The remaining episodes will air on a weekly basis to allow audiences to relax in between the episodes. Needless to say, the discussion teased on more blood, gore, and humor so it's definitely something to look forward to later this year.

The second season will bring back Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Chace Crawford, Laz Alonzo, Dominique McElligott, Karen Fukuhara, Tomer Capon, and Nathan Mitchell. The Boys Season 2 will air on Amazon Prime on September 4.
