The Boys Season 2: First Look at New Hero Stormfront

Homelander has pretty much been the unstoppable force of The Boys, but it looks like he's going to be meeting his match when it comes to new hero Stormfront.

Thanks to Entertainment Weekly, we have new images of Stormfront played by Aya Cash (You're the Worst). Check her out:

When it comes to the character, it's said that Stormfront is going to be the main hero clashing with Homelander, and that she's there to try and steer the Seven back into the right direction. "I think she's here to blow up Vought," says Cash, "She's here to try to get Vought back to the original idea behind creating superheroes... And she can be quite the feminist. There's a lot of, I wouldn't say misdirect, but she also is a very empowered woman."

Homelander himself Antony Starr also had this to say about Stormfront's inclusion, "She's the grenade that gets thrown into Homelander's world and the world of the Seven… She really causes me so many problems."

It's worth noting that Stormfront in the comics is actually a guy, and that he's kind of a Nazi version of Superman who is the leader of another super group, Payback. We don't know how that will come out in the show, but I'm excited to see how things will be shaken up.

With the Seven mostly compromised of big jerks as superheroes, it's really going to be interesting to see more actual superheroes join their team. Then again, Stormfront could have her own agenda when it comes to the team. I'm just excited to see someone actually clash properly with Homelander.
