The Book of Boba Fett Trailer Teases Star Wars Villains' Return

People are loving the first trailer for The Book of Boba Fett since it confirms that the former bounty hunter has found a new career. After all, it means that Boba is taking on the criminal underworld of the galaxy. Naturally, fans are convinced this means we'll also get to see some familiar faces. Is it possible that the new trailer has teased the return of some of the Star Wars Universe's unexpected villains?

In the Book of Boba Fett trailer, Boba makes it clear that he intends to rule Tatooine but with respect instead of fear. However, there are some who are not too sure about his plan. At one point, Boba and Fennec Shand sit down for a meeting with Jabba the Hutt's former commanders.

This scene alone should be enough to confirm that we'll be seeing some familiar faces from the Star Wars original trilogy films. There are already speculations that other bounty hunters will make an appearance in The Book of Boba Fett. However, another scene has caught the eye of fans who believe that certain villains will be back as well.

There is a scene in the trailer showing Boba and Fennec being surrounded by soldiers wielding shields. Interestingly, some fans believe these are men from Crimson Dawn who have come to challenge Boba's rule over Tatooine.

Most fans learned about Crimson Dawn in Solo: A Star Wars Story where it was revealed that Darth Maul is in control of the criminal syndicate. Although Maul should be gone by the time The Book of Boba Fett is in full swing, there is a good chance that Crimson Dawn is still operating.

The Book of Boba Fett stars Temeura Morrison and Ming-Na Wen. The series premieres on Disney+ on December 29, 2021.
