Speaking of the Child, his identity has remained a huge mystery since the beginning of The Mandalorian but as the show progressed, we began to learn details not only about his ancestry but also about his tragic past. In fact, Ahsoka's appearance in "Chapter 13: The Jedi" shed light on Grogu's backstory and his shocking connection to Order 66 but we never got to see any flashback scene.

Lo and behold, The Book of Boba Fett finally offered fans a glimpse of Grogu's horrific experience during Order 66. Turns out, Baby Yoda had no recollection of what happened during the Jedi purge but Luke helped him revisit the exact moment where he almost died. However, the scene didn't show how he survived the onslaught and if he was actually saved.

Of course, it's no longer surprising how Dave Filoni decided to leave some things unanswered and that massive cliffhanger about Grogu's Order 66 rescue will most likely be addressed in Season 3 of The Mandalorian.

The Book of Boba Fett Chapter 6 is now streaming exclusively on Disney+.
