The Book of Boba Fett Reportedly Bringing Back Major Star Wars Characters

It's no secret that The Book of Boba Fett is that one Star Wars show that makes everyone nostalgic with all the Easter eggs, references, and cameos. However, it looks like the series still has more to offer in the upcoming episodes. Temuera Morrison may have confirmed that some beloved characters will be returning in the Mandalorian spin-off!

The first four episodes of Book of Boba Fett already gave us Jawas, Tusken Raiders, Gamorreans, the Pyke Syndicate, and one very special Rancor. Despite all this, Morrison may have confirmed that we haven't seen his favorite Star Wars creatures just yet.

Morrison recently joined co-star Ming-Na Wen in a virtual interview for Buzzfeed Celeb where he was asked which creature he would like to travel across the galaxy with. "I like those Ewoks. They were great to work with. They were funny," Morrison said. Interestingly, even Wen agreed, echoing her castmate's thoughts about the furry creatures being funny.

It's a surprising comment considering that we haven't seen the Ewoks yet in The Book of Boba Fett. We're not sure exactly how the furry bipeds will be introduced in the series considering that they live on the forest moon of Endor and not on Tatooine. Nevertheless, it would be great to see Ewoks again this year.

Ewoks were first introduced in Return of the Jedi where they played an important role in helping the Rebel Alliance defeat the Galactic Empire in the Battle of Endor. They have since appeared in two made-for-TV movies and had a brief appearance in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

The Book of Boba Fett Episode 5 has not yet been given an official title. Likewise, it is still unclear if the episode will feature any Ewoks. Chapter Five will premiere on Disney+ on Wednesday, January 26, 2021.
