The Blacklist Season 9: Was it Marvin Who Betrayed Red?

Marvin first appeared on The Blacklist in Season 3, in the episode that bears his name. Marvin is a Harvard alumnus who worked for his father-in-law’s criminal defense firm as a prosecutor and partner. Marvin attempted to kidnap his son Timothy after losing custody of him to his emotionally abusive ex-wife.

As a result, he was put in prison, where he began working as a shadow attorney for high-profile offenders. This is how Marvin became associated with Red for the first time. In Season 3, Red eventually frees Marvin from prison. Marvin offers Red sound advice and assists in the negotiation of a bargain that will allow Liz to avoid jail time when she kills Tom Connolly.

In The Blacklist Season 9, Marvin comes to assist Red, who had blamed Dembe for Liz Keen's death. Red finally discovers that an unknown individual must have tipped Vandyke in finding Liz on the night she died. Some fans speculate on Reddit that this individual is Marvin.

After all, Red thought Marvin betrayed him in Season 8 and ordered his torture, but it turned out that Marvin was framed.

The Blacklist Season 9 Episode 10 Return Date

The Blacklist Season 9 Episode 10 will air on NBC on Feb. 25. Fans will have to endure a month-long wait for the next episode after the previous episode aired on Jan. 20.

The main reason for the long delay is due to the Beijing Winter Olympics, which NBC has exclusive rights to broadcast in the U.S.

Furthermore, because production on the remaining episodes is still ongoing, the delay provides the actors and crew more time to catch up on filming.

Seasoned The Blacklist viewers will also notice that the episode will air on a different day this time around. Following its break, NBC will air episodes on Friday evenings rather than Thursdays.
