Blacklist Season 10 Revisits Meera Malik's Character

In Season 1 of The Blacklist, Meera Malik (Parminder Nagra) worked as a CIA agent. The task force squares battle against Berlin in the season's final two episodes.

While on assignment, Meera and Donald Ressler became separated. Liz Keen attempts to warn them of oncoming danger, but it's too late. Meera is killed when an unknown assassin slashes her throat.

The cast and crew of The Blacklist have been sighted filming at the Greenwood Cemetery in Brooklyn, New York, according to fans and location tracking sites, according to Den of Geek.

As a result, the publication has speculated that Siya and the rest of the task team would visit Meera's grave in The Blacklist Season 10.

The Blacklist Celebrates a Milestone

The Blacklist recently hit an incredible milestone, and Banerjee was a part of the celebration.

"And that's a wrap on The Blacklist's 200th (and my 4th) episode! Congrats to the entire team on this tremendous feat, and thanks for the very warm welcome," she wrote on Instagram.

The Blacklist Season 10 will include a total of 22 episodes and will center on Wujing's desire to bring down Raymond Reddington as well as other blacklisters Red helped lock up.

Who is Anya Banerjee?

Banerjee recently graduated from Columbia University's MFA acting program, according to Deadline.

She wrote and acted in "Apologies to the Bengali Lady," a two-handed performance that was performed at Georgetown's Lab for Global Performance and Politics in Washington, D.C., New York, and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

In an Instagram post, Banerjee expressed her joy at joining the cast of The Blacklist.

"Overwhelming gratitude at this announcement. Proud to be following in the footsteps of Parminder Nagra's incomparable legacy on @nbcblacklist !" she wrote.

Banerjee is repped by Authentic Talent + Literary Management, Lion Rock Management in New Zealand.
