It looks like the Avengers aren't the only ones who are grieving since the new Agents of SHIELD season 6 trailer has been released and it is intense. The Agents had just lost fan-favorite Phil Coulson in the last season so they're pretty shocked to see a world conqueror with his face. It's clear that these are the highest stakes Daisy and her crew have faced up to this point.
Alphonso "Mack" Mackenzie has taken Coulson's place as the new SHIELD director and he is clearly struggling with this, along with the rest of the team. Everyone is still devastated by the loss and having to take on someone with his face is gonna be problematic, especially since he has a ton of alien technology that's strong enough to level buildings.
WHERE. IS. CAPTAIN. MARVEL?
No mention of Avengers: Endgame is made so we might have to wait for the season to premiere before we see any of that. The five-year time jump will need to have affected everyone unless they get back by the time Hulk brings everyone back and the Avengers defeat Thanos.
At least they have their own balding baddy to beat?
Agents of SHIELD season 6 debuts next week on May 10 in ABC.
