The Batman, The Suicide Squad Footage to be Revealed at DC FanDome

There are several reasons why people are already excited about the next weekend. After all, DC will be holding a special 24-hour virtual convention DC FanDome where fans can learn more about the upcoming projects. In addition to special interviews and panels, there's a good chance that we'll be getting updates on films like Shazam 2 and The Flash. Now it has been revealed that the first footage from The Batman and The Suicide Squad will debut at the event.

Filming might not yet be done for The Batman but it looks like the cast and crew managed to film enough to share at DC FanDome. According to The Wrap, director Matt Reeves will "treat fans to some new footage" during the panel being hosted by Aisha Tyler.

But what about the other movies? People have been waiting for the first teaser for The Suicide Squad for a long time considering that the film had already completed filming before the COVID-19 shutdowns. Luckily, director James Gunn has confirmed in a tweet that fans will finally get a brief look at the DC Extended Universe flick.

We're loving the confirmation that we will finally get a look at what to expect in The Batman and The Suicide Squad. After all, these are two of the most highly anticipated movies from the DCEU after Wonder Woman 1984. Needless to say, we can't wait until next weekend.

DC FanDome kicks off on August 22.
