We're only a month away from the release of Matt Reeves' The Batman and you can best believe that fans all over the globe are starting to get infected with the Bat-mania. The film, led by Robert Pattinson is set in Bruce Wayne's second year as the caped crusader and follows a relatively brand new approach to the character that differs from past iterations of the hero yet still somehow feels rooted in its source material.

Turns out, Pattinson is a lifelong fan of the caped crusader and in fact, he is so dedicated to the character that he's seen every Batman film in the cinema. Speaking with Total Film, Pattinson expressed his love for all the films which includes the worst-rated Dark Knight film, Batman & Robin.

He explains: "Out of all the comic-book characters and that kind of movie, I've seen every single one of the [Batman] movies in the cinema, which I can't really say I've done for any other series. I was always really looking forward to them coming out. There was the combination of just being so attracted to it, but also feeling like it'd had a lot of movies made about it, and none of them are bad movies. People kind of shit on some of them, but they're not actually bad. They all kind of completely achieve what they set out to achieve, and they're all really interesting, according to their time and place. I don't know. I just had a weird instinct about it. But I've always loved the character."

To be fair, Batman & Robin was a film that was more geared toward children and at the time, I think it was successful in serving its purpose. Of course, that isn't going to take away the bad taste it left in a lot of fans' mouths but just look at things this way: it forced WB to bring the character back to its darker roots, technically paving the way for films like The Dark Knight trilogy, Batman v Superman, and now, The Batman.

The Batman is scheduled for release on March 4, 2022.
