Comic book fans have long been trying to settle the debate as to which character between Batman and Iron Man is actually the superior hero. Of course, the decades-long discourse stems from the fact that both Bruce Wayne and Tony Stark are non-powered individuals who only rely on their tactics and wealth to fight crime.

Shockingly enough, a movie advertisement for the upcoming Matt Reeves film seems to express admiration for Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man at the expense of Robert Pattinson's version of the famed Dark Knight.

A bizarre wall art ad for The Batman was recently spotted on the side of New Farm Cinemas in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia and it's the most unconventional way of promoting a film, to say the least. Shared by Reddit user u/knivesxonly, the artwork features a statement claiming that Tony Stark is "the world's #1 smartest, multi-billionaire superhero orphan who fights crime without any superpowers".

The said ad even features the Stark Industries logo. Obviously, it's just the Aussies and their dry wit on full display but still, it's a pretty unusual promotion, I gotta say. Check it out here:

At the end of the day, it's still a matter of preference and whether you're Team Batman or Team Iron Man, there's absolutely no shame in picking a favorite.

Meanwhile, the box office odds are definitely in favor of The Batman after it was officially announced that Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has been rescheduled to May. I don't know about you but the film's box office chances look pretty promising.

The Batman is slated to hit cinemas on March 4, 2022.
