The Batman Star Jeffrey Wright Praises Robert Pattinson's Badass Performance

We won't see it until March next year, but fans are already hyped about the upcoming film The Batman, which will be a new different take on the Caped Crusader played by Robert Pattinson and under the direction of Matt Reeves. After one of its stars called the film a masterpiece, another cast member has spoken and this time praised Pattinson's performance.

Speaking with Entertainment Tonight, Jeffrey Wright, who plays Commissioner Gordon in the film, was asked about his thoughts on Pattinson's portrayal of Batman to which he responded with very complimentary praise.

"Robert is gonna do his thing, and we were working within a Matt Reeves vision, so you know, Robert is doing what Robert does and it's gonna be pretty badass I think," the actor said. "I loved working with him, I love his take and his energy and the way that he kind of brought different levels to different parts of the story. And we work off of one another. I just tried to give him Gordon things, and he did his Batman thing."

Since Wright is playing Commissioner Gordon, we can pretty much assume that he shares a lot of scenes with Pattinson. It is great to see him compliment the actor and rave about his performance. It helps us fans put at ease regarding the actor as the new Batman and gave us an idea of what he would bring to the role since, of course, we want him to be a great Batman actor.
