The Batman: Robert Pattinson Shares Bruce Wayne's Greatest Fear

There is little doubt that Bruce Wayne can do just about anything when he puts his mind to it. But is it possible that the Caped Crusader is actually afraid of something? Robert Pattinson should know a thing or two about the DC comic book hero since he's playing him in The Batman. So it's no surprise that Battinson has shared what he believes is Batman's greatest fear!

We all know that Robert Pattinson is the new Batman and by taking the role, he has done the necessary research on the character. With that in mind, Pattinson is sharing what he knows about Bruce Wayne, like what the famous crimefighter is truly afraid of.

Pattinson recently spoke to The River where he discussed getting into Bruce Wayne's mindset. Interestingly, he pointed out that the character "is unhealthy" in many ways.

"He's been accumulating pain for 20 years, and this time it will be released around. Being Batman is like a strange therapy in many ways. And he's dependent on it," Pattinson said. He then revealed what he believes is Bruce Wayne's greatest fear.

"Perhaps his greatest fear is the mask being stripped off of him, revealing the fact that Batman is Bruce Wayne. It's almost like death to him. He fights that way as Batman," Pattinson said.

It's an interesting yet fitting way to describe Bruce Wayne considering that the hero has been through so much in his life. In addition to that, the character has been very protective of his identity. This should explain why Bruce is determined to find the Riddler in The Batman since the criminal knows who the Caped Crusader truly is.

The Batman is directed by Matt Reeves and also stars Zoë Kravitz, Paul Dano, Jeffrey Wright, John Turturro, Peter Sarsgaard, Andy Serkis, and Colin Farrell. The movie will hit theaters on March 4, 2022.
