We're only a few weeks away from the premiere of The Batman and that means a lot of new promos for the upcoming DC flick. The latest one is the new international poster which features a surprisingly different look at the full cast!
The new poster was shared by the DC Japan Twitter account ahead of The Batman's premiere in the country. It features the Caped Crusader up front and center where he is flanked by Jim Gordon, Selena Kyle, Oswald Cobblepot and The Riddler. Interestingly, the poster also shows Bruce Wayne and his car engulfed in flames. Check it out below.
It's a cool yet surprisingly different look at The Batman considering that the previous promos have been a lot darker. Although the Japanese poster is still dark, it has a unique look.
There is little doubt that the poster is just the first of many more promos and merchandise that will be dropped as The Batman draws closer to its premiere date. With that in mind, fans are already getting hyped up for the highly anticipated flick.
The Batman will star Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne as he goes through his second year as the Caped Crusader. It is during this time that he also deals with a serial killer known simply as The Riddler who has been targetting Gotham City's elite residents. In addition to that, the criminal is also targetting Bruce himself, suggesting that he knows the Batman's true identity.
The film is directed by Matt Reeves and will also star Zoë Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as The Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as Jim Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Peter Sarsgaard as Gil Colson, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, and Colin Farrell as The Penguin. The Batman will premiere in theaters on March 4, 2022.
