The Batman: Dunkirk Actor Thinks He Would Make a Good Robin

With the rumors going around that Matt Reeves' The Batman is looking for a younger actor to play Batman, several sites have gone on to make lists on who would be right for the role. Heroic Hollywood thinks that Dunkirk's Barry Keoghan would actually be a good fit for the role of a young Bats, but Keoghan thinks he's better suited for someone else.

Based on his role in Dunkirk, I think he would actually make a good fit for Robin, but I don't know where in the story he could be placed. If anything, I think he would make a good Jason Todd i.e. the Robin that the Joker killed and whose suit is now hanging in the Batcave.

If we were to explore the younger Batman, it would be interesting to follow his journey before we meet him as Batfleck in Batman v Superman. I'd love to see him working with Dick Grayson before Grayson's transition to Nightwing, or maybe even explore the arc where Joker kills Jason Todd. I think I would be stretching it if I wished for a Red Hood storyline.

Honestly, I don't know how Reeves should proceed. I just hope that DC films head Walter Hamada has a full proof plan that will have everyone coming out satisfied with the DCEU.

No release date has been set for The Batman.
