The Bad Batch Season Finale Confirmed Unexpected Connection to The Mandalorian

The final episode of Star Wars: The Bad Batch focused on the broken connection between Crosshair and the rest of Clone Force 99. However, the season finale also teased the future of another character and their connection to The Mandalorian.

The Bad Batch Episode 16 focused fully on the escape from the collapsing Tipoca City. At one point, Omega and AZI-3 save Crosshair from a flooding room. He would later return the favor when the two almost drown coming back to the ocean surface, but the rest of the team warily aim their guns at Crosshair in fear that he would harm Omega.

In the end, Crosshair decided to part ways with the Bad Batch, choosing to stay behind on Kamino. However, the painful parting isn't the final scene in Episode 16.

Kamino Lost concludes with Nala Se being brought to an Imperial facility. It is here that we see a new character wearing a familiar uniform.

Although Nala Se's purpose is not declared, it is obvious that the geneticist will be employed to create more clones for the Empire. This project is expected to continue well until Palpatine's death and lead straight into the events in The Mandalorian.

It wouldn't be a surprise that Palpatine had wanted to clone himself and possibly add certain enhancements. Hopefully, we'll get to see how it all started in The Bad Batch Season 2.

All episodes of Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 1 are now streaming on Disney+.
