The Bad Batch Episode 9 Recap: Bounty Lost Reveals The Shocking Truth About Omega

It's time for another episode of Star Wars: The Bad Batch and it looks like the animated series has finally revealed the truth about Omega. In addition to that, Bounty Lost brought back a character we've been missing for the past few weeks.

WARNING: The following contains SPOILERS from Star Wars: The Bad Batch Episode 9! PROCEED WITH CAUTION!

In The Bad Batch Episode 9, Clone Force 99 continued going after Cad Bane in an effort to retrieve Omega. As they continue to chase after the bounty hunter and their little friend, Tech pretty much drops a major bombshell on his teammates.

Tech reveals that Omega is actually a pure clone of Jango Fett and is essentially the omega to an alpha we all know as Boba Fett. It is also confirmed that Boba used to be the one that the Kaminoans needed to retrieve fresh cloning material but since he's disappeared, they really need Omega which explains why they dispatched Bane to get her.

We're still reeling from the revelation but there are other things to worry about. Omega is looking for a way to escape and she manages to trick Bane's droid aide to release her so she can be traced by the Bad Batch. Meanwhile, Lama Su sends Taun We to Bora Vio and orders Nala Se to kill Omega after retrieving genetic samples.

Nala Se isn't having any of it and immediately informs Fennec Shand about Lama Su's plan. Fennec immediately heads for Bora Vio and kills Taun We. She also faces Bane which gives Omega the chance to escape and be reunited with the Bad Batch.

It's awesome to know that Fennec was actually trying to protect Omega instead of the other way around. On the other hand, we're hoping that Bane survives to see another day in the series.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch Episode 9 is titled Bounty Lost and is now streaming on Disney+.
