The Bad Batch Character Reportedly Set for Live-Action Debut in The Book of Boba Fett

People are understandably hyped up for the second season of Star Wars: The Bad Batch next year. However, it looks like one of the characters in the animated series is returning a lot sooner than expected. A key figure in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars spin-off is now believed to get a live-action debut in the upcoming Disney+ show The Book of Boba Fett.

We already know of one character who is sure to appear in The Book of Boba Fett. Originally introduced in The Mandalorian, a younger version of Ming-Na Wen's Fennec Shand showed up in The Bad Batch and tried to retrieve Omega for the Kaminoans. In the present Mandalorian timeline, Fennec is Boba's companion and is set to play a major role in the upcoming show.

Interestingly, The Book of Boba Fett could give us a second showdown between Fennec and the other bounty hunter she faced in The Bad Batch. A new report suggests that Cad Bane will finally get his live-action debut in the Mandalorian spin-off show.

For now, Disney and Lucasfilm have not shared any update on The Book of Boba Fett nor the characters who will appear in the spin-off. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.

The Book of Boba Fett will star Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen. The series will premiere on Disney+ in December 2021. Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2 is set to air on the streaming service in 2022.
