The Art of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Has Been Delayed

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is going to be a huge movie for fans of the franchise since it will supposedly be the final installment in the Skywalker Saga. Due to all of this, some fans were looking forward to The Art of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, an art book that shows how the movie was conceptualized and drawn. Interestingly enough, the artbook has been delayed to Spring 2020.

The news was revealed from a statement by Abrams Books (via ScreenRant), though no actual reason was given for this delay. All the publishers did was apologize for the inconvenience, which is a bit strange if we're being honest. Feel free to call us paranoid but we have a feeling that the artbook has been delayed so that possible spoilers won't be hitting the internet early.

Does it sound absurd? Sure but this is a company that has seemingly canceled a number of Hayden Christensen's Star Wars-related con appearances, which has fans thinking that he will appear in the movie. It is called The Rise of Skywalker after all.

Even without The Art of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, a number of "leaks" have supposedly made their way to the internet. We can't guarantee that any of them are true since the movie won't be coming out until next week. Hopefully, we don't get an Endgame-like leak where the final battle is shown days before the movie comes out.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker comes out on December 20.
