Bespin Bulletin has reported that The Acolyte is currently undergoing reshoots in the United Kingdom that likely commenced earlier this month.

The production is taking place in the Rickmansworth forest in Hertfordshire, England where they are allegedly filming a lightsaber battle scene between a Jedi and a Sith.

The report speculated that Amandla Stenberg's character is the Sith figure that was spotted on the set although they noted that her appearance was different from the footage that was shown in Star Wars Celebration.

As for the Jedi figure, it is likely to be Lee Jung-jae's character, who is believed to be the master of Stenberg’s former padawan in the series.

Lucasfilm has not commented on the report yet, but reshoots have also become a norm for many Hollywood projects so it's not surprising at this point to hear that The Acolyte might be undergoing it as well.

This should not concern fans who have been anticipating for the series since this doesn't show any sign that its release will be delayed and it's an indication that the planned arrival on Disney+ somewhere next year remains on track.

Aside from The Acolyte, Skeleton Crew is also slated for release next year and it will likely be the next Star Wars series set to premiere.

Meanwhile, the second season of Andor has been delayed until 2025 as its production was affected by the Hollywood strikes and is expected to resume soon.
