The only complaint about the second cour of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 2 has been that, while interesting and gorgeous as always, the cour so far has been 5 episodes' worth of council meetings so that the new Demon Lord Rimuru can get Tempest running again, protect his friends, and take revenge against those who tried to destroy his home.
This is not to say that the dialogue has been boring or unnecessary, and we expect such complaints to become less frequent as time goes by, now that Rimuru has an action plan! We expect that the huge build-up will really pay off in 1 or 2 episodes at most, and we're here for it. Episode 5 of the new cour is titled "The Eve of Battle," after all!

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime follows Satoru, a man in his late thirties who is murdered, then gets reincarnated from a relatively purposeless, mundane life into a fantastic one, where he can have adventures he had never imagined... but not as a human. Instead, he's an extremely powerful slime with the ability to devour anything and take its form.

In the newest episode, Rimuru and his allies discuss ways to approach the forthcoming Walpurgis, where the demon lords will gather. Rimuru resolves to stop Clayman from slaying innocents and becoming a Demon Lord, whatever it takes.
Knowing how hard it will be to track Clayman on time, Rimuru decides to teleport himself and his army. While the Great Sage is reluctant and reminds Rimuru that transport through magic is usually reserved for products, rather than people, our hero is confident that he'll make it.
There might be some dissent among Rimuru's friends regarding their course of action, but we don't doubt that he will manage to transfer his army just about on time for a huge battle. He did manage to become a demon lord, after all.

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 2 Part 2 Episode 6 (also referred to as episode 3, counting all the existing Slime episodes) will hit our screens next Tuesday the 10th of August- less than a week from now!
Crunchyrollusers with a subscription will be able to watch the premiere as it comes out while non-premium users will have to wait a bit longer, likely several weeks if the last cour is any indication.
Part of the isekai series is already on Funimation, so new episodes will likely make it there very soon. It's already been announced that the second cour of season 2 will be dubbed in English, so we only have to wait for a release date for that!
