Gabriel Luna has already proven that he has what it takes to be an action star, thanks to his portrayal of Ghost Rider in Agents of SHIELD. However, that still didn't prepare him for his first meeting with Arnold Schwarzenegger on the set of his new film Terminator: Dark Fate.

Luna recently spoke to ComicBook.com at CinemaCon where he admitted that he felt intimidated when he met Schwarzenegger. The former True Detective actor confessed he was worried that the real T-800 wouldn't be impressed with him.

"Well, shoot, man, I was just like pumping out these reps trying to get strong because God forbid he show up and he's like 'look at this shrimpy guy,' you know? But he was incredible," Luna said. He revealed that Schwarzenegger actually gave him some amazing advice.

"We trained together and he gave me a lot of really great tips and it was a very motivating factor, just to be strong, be ready for Arnold to get there because once he got there, man, it truly took everything else another notch."

There's a good reason why Luna had to prepare for Dark Fate. He will be playing the new version of the T-1000, which was first portrayed by Robert Patrick in Terminator 2: Judgement Day. The updated T-1000 is set to have some major upgrades including the ability to split into two separate units. Needless to say, he'll probably be taking on Schwarzenegger's T-800 later this year.

The synopsis for Dark Fate reads as follows:

"Linda Hamilton (Sarah Connor) and Arnold Schwarzenegger (T-800) return in their iconic roles in Terminator: Dark Fate, directed by Tim Miller (Deadpool) and produced by visionary filmmaker James Cameron and David Ellison. Following the events of Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Terminator: Dark Fate also stars Mackenzie Davis, Natalia Reyes, Gabriel Luna, and Diego Boneta."

Terminator: Dark Fate will premiere on November 1.
