Terminator 6: Official Title and Banner Revealed at CinemaCon

Tim Miller may have missed out on directing the sequel for Deadpool, but you could say that he's made an upgrade, partnering up with James Cameron to work on the sixth Terminator film. Thanks to CinemaCon, we have a new look at the film's banner, and we also have the official title: Terminator.

Check them out:

I'll be honest, I was confused at the new title at first, but apparently dropping "The" from the original title is an acceptable sequel name (e.g., Fast and Furious). You can even go backwards and add "The" like with the upcoming film The Predator.

With Terminator, Miller and Cameron seek to restart the franchise (again) with a cast of fresh new faces including Mackenzie Davis and Gabriel Luna. What's cool is, the film also has original Sarah Connor Linda Hamilton onboard, and Arnold Schwarzenegger is coming back as everyone's favorite model of Terminator—the T-800.

With the last two Terminator films attempting and failing to launch trilogies, James Cameron has officially decided to step in and steer the franchise he started into the right direction. Hopefully with Cameron on board, third time will be the charm.

Terminator comes out Nov. 22.
