Teen Titans Go! Movie Announced, For Some Reason

Ask anyone about Teen Titans Go!, and they will tell you that it's a cute, funny show or a piece of garbage that Cartoon Network continues to support. It's a really polarizing show, with plenty of fans wishing the old Teen Titans cartoon would come back instead. Alas, that won't happen anytime soon, especially now that an animated movie has been announced.

The film is slated for a release next summer, on July 27. No details about the movie have been announced, though we know that the members of the chibi Titans will be in it. Apparently, the film will be replacing another animated movie that was supposed to take that spot.

Judging from the last four seasons, it is going to be hard to guess what the movie is about. If you've seen an episode of Teen Titans Go!, you know that the episodes are random short stories that don't really affect future installments. If characters die or turn into weird animals at the end of an episode, it won't affect them in the next short.

Greg Cipes, the voice of Robin on the show, expressed excitement for the series' big screen debut. This likely means that we will see the rest of the cast join him in the movie. The voice cast is the only thing fans of the original Teen Titans cartoon can forgive since they are the original cast from the older (and better) cartoon.

Teen Titans Go! Can currently be seen on Cartoon Network. Only time will tell if the movie is good.
