The former couple reportedly met when they crossed paths at the 2016 Met Gala. They were first publicly linked in 2017 when rumors started swirling that they had already been quietly dating for months.

From then, they were often seen together and even talked briefly about each other, though they never confirmed that they were together, keeping their relationship notoriously private.

But despite that, Page Six revealed that they used to live together in a sprawling mansion worth $8.7 million in a celebrity enclave in London.

Rumors had it that they had already tied the knot then, but sources denied the claim to the outlet.

Swift and Alwyn kept their romance out of the spotlight and were rarely photographed.

However, in 2021, they reportedly rented a four-story, six-bedroom house in Primrose Hill.

Swift and Alwyn spent the pandemic together in London. During the worldwide lockdown, they were spotted walking with the actor's family, his mom Elizabeth, his dad Richard, and his older two brothers, Patrick and Thomas, near their home overlooking Hampstead Heath.

"The family is very close and loved Taylor," a different source told Page Six. "She was often at their family gatherings, but it did take a while for them to get used to her visits. She has round-the-clock security, and every exit had to be checked due to her stalkers."

"Taylor liked to keep everything low-key and normal and liked that they accepted her as one of their own."

On Saturday, April 8, news broke that Swift and Alwyn called it quits a few weeks ago after dating for six years.

Another source told People that the split allegedly had to do with the "differences in their personalities."
