Classical music meets anime in a new series announced by MAPPA during their 10th anniversary event on Sunday, June 27.

Originally a mixed media project by BANDAI Namco Arts and DeNa, takt op.Destiny will feature young women called "Musicart", who are themed after pieces of classical music. These women battle monsters using their music alongside a Conductor in order to defeat them and fully bring back music to their ruined world.

This series is in collaboration with Madhouse and is set to premiere on October 5, 2021. MAPPA presented a teaser visual, promotional video, and a list of the staff during the panel.

Kōki Uchiyama (Haikyuu!!, Jujutsu Kaisen) is the voice of Asahina Takt, the protagonist of the series. Takt is a Conductor teamed up with a Musicart named Unmei. You can find the teaser visual here.
