Chainsaw Man Fans Freak Out Over Anime's NSFW Trailer

There is little doubt that people are already excited about the upcoming Chainsaw Man anime. Luckily, we just got our first glimpse at the adaptation as the first trailer was dropped during MAPPA Stage. Not surprisingly, fans have strong reactions to the teaser's NSFW content.

It was previously confirmed that Chainsaw Man will get a special panel at MAPPA Stage along with the studio's other projects. Chainsaw Man was wisely saved for last at the event and the long wait was worth it.

The first trailer for Chainsaw Man introduced Denji, Makima, Aki, and Power in stunning cinematography. However, the teaser also didn't shy away from the violence and gore that fans have always loved in the manga.

Needless to say, the trailer is a huge hit with fans who have already been trending Chainsaw Man on social media before the panel started.

For now, it is not yet clear how much of the manga will be adapted in the anime. However, it looks like Chainsaw Man will take a huge chunk of Tatsuki Fujimoto's manga but leave just enough for more seasons.

The official description for Chainsaw Man reads as follows:

"Denji is a boy who lives as a devil hunter with 'The Devil of Chainsaw' Pochita. Because of the debt repayment left by his parents, he was betrayed and killed while spending the days at the bottom of the table. In a fading consciousness, Denji merged with Pochita and is resurrected as Chainsaw Man with a devil's heart."

Chainsaw Man has not yet been given an official release date. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
