It may have been a long wait but we're finally getting more exciting updates from Sword Art Online Progressive: Aria of a Starless Night. Just days after the anime film's release date was announced, we now have the first official teaser for the movie.

The Sword Art Online Progressive: Aria of a Starless Nightofficial release date was announced during the anime's panel at Aniplex Online Fest 2021. In addition to announcing when the movie will hit theaters in Japan, the main visual for the film was also dropped during the panel.

Not surprisingly, the announcement had fans hyped up for Aria of a Starless Night so Aniplex decided to release the official teaser. It immediately brings us into the game as Asuna marvels at how real it feels to be part of the game. However, this also means that everything is more dangerous for the girl.

It is confirmed that the only way to escape is to complete the game. With that in mind, Asuna is determined to finish the game all the way to the end, but will she succeed?

For now, Sword Art Online Progressive: Aria of a Starless Night is only confirmed to premiere in Japan. However, the anime's official English Twitter account also pointed out that the movie is also getting a US release. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
