That's a wrap for Sweet Tooth Season 2! It has been confirmed that the second season of the series has completed production and fans got a sneak peek at the returning cast members in an awesome behind-the-scenes teaser. In addition to that, the video confirms that a beloved character who had disappeared in the previous season will be back on the show!
The behind-the-scenes video for Sweet Tooth Season 2 was shared during Netflix Geeked Week and it confirms that production has wrapped on the series. We get a cool glimpse at Nonso Anozie and Christian Convery celebrating together as well as the rest of the cast and crew looking very happy.
Interestingly, one character is also shown in the video. Two puppeteers are seen holding Bobby, the little human-groundhog hybrid who was Wendy's best friend. This is clearly a confirmation that Bobby survived and was one of the hybrids taken by the Last Men.
In the previous season finale, Aimee let Wendy and the other hybrid children escape but they were ultimately captured by the Last Men. There were initially concerns that Bobby was not taken since he is smaller and more animal-like than the other hybrids but it looks like the Last Men may have taken him as well.
We're happy to see that Bobby is back and we're hoping he survives until the end. Needless to say, we can't wait to catch up with Gus, Wendy, Bobby, and the rest of the hybrid children soon.
Sweet Tooth is based on the DC Vertigo comic book series by Jeff Lemire and follows Gus, a human-deer hybrid as he tries to survive while being hunted by humans who believe hybrids are the cure for the Sick.
Sweet Tooth Season 2 has not yet been given an official release date. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
