Warner Bros. Discovery will soon pull the plug on the DC Extended Universe aka the "SnyderVerse" and for the most part, it seems like the fandom is ready to embrace the creative direction the franchise is heading to.

Over the last couple of weeks, DC Studios' first big-screen offering, Superman: Legacy has been picking up steam, especially after the project's headlining cast was announced including David Corenswet and Rachel Brosnahan.

The ongoing WGA and SAG-AFTRA strike may have halted the film's momentum quite a bit but a new report gives fans an idea of what to expect from Superman: Legacy.

Taking to Twitter, tipster Grace Randolph shared alleged plot details for Superman: Legacy and it looks like the film will have political undertones much like Zack Snyder's interpretation of the Man of Steel.

Randolph claims that the film's story is centered on the conflict in the Middle East with Kal-El disagreeing with his fellow heroes on how to put an end to it. Additionally, Lex Luthor is "trying to negotiate peace his own way" which seems to imply that the villain will be painted in a different light.

Lastly, the scooper also claims that The Authority won't appear in the film just yet and the rumors surrounding the group's involvement were all just a misdirection.

According to Randolph, a JSA type of team will appear in the film which was pretty much confirmed by the most recent casting additions. Check out Randolph's tweet below:
