Super Junior Donghae will appear in Oh! Young Shim a new Kdrama based on the old-time Korean animation Young Shim. The series' production company, The Great Show, has also confirmed the other cast members who will join the idol-actor.
Oh! Young Shim is directed by Oh Hwan Min and Kim Kyung Eun and written by Jeon Sun Young. It will depict the bickering romance between Oh Young-Shim and Wang Kyung-Tae, two people who are experiencing the sweetness and bitterness of life as they enter their 30s.
Super Junior Donghae Leads New Kdrama Oh! Young Shim
Donghae will portray the role of Wang Kyung-Tae, also known as Mark Wang. Oh Young-shim has bullied him, and 20 years later, he returns as the successful Mark Wang, the founder of the firm Kingvely.
Mark Wang was a nosy boy who followed Young-Shim despite being bullied by her. Wang Kyung-Tae, who grew up to be a perfectionist with an unknowable cold impression, runs into his first love, Oh Young-Shim, by accident, which brings up bitter memories from his childhood.

Song Ha Yoon will play Oh Young-Shim in her 30s when she has matured into an eighth-year producer at the entertainment bureau. People who work in entertainment agencies have always regarded her as an "icon of an early end" due to the overwhelming enthusiasm with which she pursued her career.
In the midst of a difficult situation, she is presented with the opportunity to produce a pilot love entertainment show. Oh! Young Shim has been confirmed to already finished filming and is scheduled to air in the first half of next year.
