Sung Hoon talked about the dating rumors that previously surrounded him in an en episode of Problem Child in House on Wednesday, May 18. For starters, the 39-year-old actor was linked to Im Soo Hyang and Park Na Rae.
Sung Hoon graced the show to promote his new K-drama, Woori the Virgin. So, what’s the truth on his alleged past romances with Im Soo Hyang and Park Na Rae?
Sung Hoon Talks about Lim Soo Hyang, Park Na Rae
The model first addressed the issues surrounding him and Im Soo Hyang.
"When we were rookie actors filming a drama together, we would meet every day and practice for six to seven hours each day,” he said via AllKpop. “We were practicing together to get into character so, of course, we would develop feelings (as characters in the drama)."
The MCs couldn’t help but feel impressed with his honesty as he openly answered their alleged relationship's mystery.

He then talked about Park Na Rae and the rumors that they got embroiled in.
"I like hugging everyone, whether they are male or female,” he revealed. “I'm so close with Na Rae, so I naturally hugged her and I think people misunderstood when they saw me."
Sung Hoon Reunited with Im Soo Hyang
Sung Hoon is reunited with Im Soo Hyang in the new K-drama Woori the Virgin. So, what could he say about their reunion after the dating rumors that once surrounded them?
“I jokingly told Im Soo Hyang with a laugh, ‘We’re seeing each other quite often,’” he said, per Soompi. “We worked together on another drama in 2016, but this is the first time in 11 years that we’re playing each other’s love interests, after SBS’s New Tales of Gisaeng.”
Woori the Virgin marks the third time they have worked together after New Tales of Gisaeng in 2011 and Five Enough in 2016.

With that said, the actor is confident enough in their chemistry onscreen.
“Because we know each other’s acting styles so well, we were able to create great chemistry from our very first shoot [for Woori the Virgin],” he explained.
Woori the Virgin is the South Korean adaptation of the American series Jane the Virgin, based on a Venezuelan telenovela.
It tells the story of Oh Woo Ri (Im Soo Hyang), who vows to maintain her innocence. Still, she ends up getting pregnant after accidental artificial insemination during a medical exam.

Sung Hoon plays the role of Raphael, a large company CEO and the biological father of Woo Ri’s child.
Despite his icy personality, he’s a softy on the inside, secretly wanting to meet the love of his life and find happiness someday.
Woori the Virgin airs every Monday and Tuesday on SBS.
