Streamer Allegedly Banned From Twitch For Saying 'There Are Only Two Genders'

Well, this is awkward. Twitch Streamer, well former Twitch Streamer, HelenaLive stated that she was recently banned from the platform, claiming that it was because she said: "there are only two genders." The streaming platform has banned people for much harsher sentiments but it seems like HelenaLive feels that it was unfair since she does not hate the transgender community or those that have other gender preferences.

In a video that was shared on Reddit, HelenaLive said that she was not a hateful person, though she does believe that there are only two genders: male and female, with no in-between. The former streamer went on to say that she supports the transgender community and thinks there is nothing wrong with a man wanting to become a woman and vice-versa.

HelenAlive then reads the email she got from Twitch, which stated that this was her third strike and she would now be permabanned from the platform after supposedly continuing hate speech. The content creator then said that she replied to the streaming platform with three different emails, but did not say what those emails contained.

The subject of gender and sexual preferences will always be a touchy one but fans feel that there could be more to her permaban then the two genders comment. Some other Twitch streamers even stated that they share a similar opinion to HelenAlive about gender but they have yet to receive a ban. It's definitely an interesting issue, to say the least.
