Stranger Things Star Millie Bobby Brown Addresses Shocking Mind Flayer Theory About Eleven

It's no secret that Eleven has been through a lot over the past three seasons of Stranger Things. But could things change for El in Season 4? A new theory suggests that El will end up being the bad guy in the upcoming season and Millie Bobby Brown seems to like the idea.

Brown recently spoke to Elle about what could happen in Stranger Things Season 4 and the publication brought up the possibility that El may have been infected by the Mind Flayer in the third season (via Comicbook.com). Interestingly, Brown seems to agree that it's possible that El is now under the influence of the Mind Flayer.

"I kind of like it! I'm into it. I wasn't playing it like that. We don't know what happens in Season 4. I definitely don't," Brown said. "In scenes after the Mind Flayer grabbed me, I wasn't playing it as I was infected. I was definitely playing it as normal as possible. And maybe that's the reason they didn't tell me. To make it as real as possible. I don't know."

The young actress admitted that she had heard about the theories and although they are quite exciting, she's also terrified that something horrible would happen to her character.

"Those theories freak me out a bit. Because I'm like, 'Oh god, that could genuinely be true.' And what if she is the villain? That would be so cool. Wouldn't that be cool? I'd love to be the villain, but then I also wouldn't because Eleven is perfect. It would suck," Brown said.

For now, we're hoping that El hasn't been infected by the Mind Flayer. Nevertheless, we are cautious about what could happen in the fourth season.

Stranger Things Season 4 has not yet been given an official release date. However, the upcoming season is expected to air on Netflix by 2020.
