Stranger Things Star Comes With A New Snacking Company Brand

TBH (To Be Honest), is a new sustainability-focused snack brand that promises more hazelnut and protein than Nutella. The snacking brand is also made without palm oil. TBH will officially be launched online in November via DTC.

This brand is the latest creation of ‘Stranger Things' lead actor Noah Schnapp, and the launch of the brand coincides with the completion of filming of Stranger Things Season 4.

In a recent exclusive interview with Forbes, Noah Schnapp said that the idea for the product stemmed from his love for Nutella, and his passion for sustainability and health through entrepreneurship. Schnapp teamed up with Umana Venture Studios about two years ago to create a healthier alternative to the traditional Nutella spread after realizing that harvesting palm oil is one of the leading causes of habitat destruction and deforestation.

The ingredients for TBH are vegan, and each serving contains 14g of net carbs, 6g of protein, and 50% less sugar than the category leader while giving the consumer a similar taste and texture, according to the CEO of the company, Elena Guberman.

According to Schnapp, the demand from younger generations also sparked the concept. In the interview with Forbes, Schnapps said that he believes that transparency is ‘super important’ for younger consumers.

“I’ve noticed they like voting with their dollars. They want products that are better for you and better for the planet,” he said.

He also said that he feels fortunate to be able to help his generation make a difference through simple pantry swaps like TBH.

Noah Schnapp is set to return to his role in the fourth season of Netflix’s Stranger Things. Although the series doesn’t have an official release date yet, it is expected to be released in 2022 on Netflix.
