Stranger Things Season 4 Trailer Teases an Impending War Against the Upside Down

It's been almost three years since the third season of Stranger Things was released and fans have been patiently waiting for the fourth season which has been affected by delays as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Fortunately, we are now getting closer to its release and now we finally have our first-ever full look at what's about to come in the highly-anticipated next chapter of the hit series.

Netflix has released the first official trailer of the fourth season of Stranger Things which gave us a look at what we can anticipate in the show's much-awaited return. Set six months after the end of the third season, we see the Hawkins gang still dealing with the aftermath of the Battle of Starcourt especially Max who is still grieving the death of her brother Billy. We also caught a glimpse of Will and Eleven's new life as they moved to another town, Hopper's life as a prisoner in Russia, and teased an impending war coming in Hawkins against the Upside Down.

Based on the footage that they've shown, it looks like the fourth season will be the most epic, horror-leaning, and action-packed season yet as they teased a lot of set pieces that are set to happen. They also gave us a glimpse of what looks like a flashback during the days when Eleven was still being experimented on under Dr. Martin Brenner's watch. Everything that they've shown here looks very promising and the long wait that we endured for the fourth season might be worth it in the end.

The fourth season of Stranger Things' logline reads: "It’s been six months since the Battle of Starcourt, which brought terror and destruction to Hawkins.
