Stranger Things Season 4 Teaser Confirms The American's Identity

Have you been hoping for an update from Stranger Things Season 4? Well, today is your lucky day. The first teaser for the upcoming season is finally here and it confirms the identity of The American from the previous season finale.

The teaser opens with a sweeping shot at a snowy field that appears to be in Russia. Soon, we get a glimpse at a camp filled with several people who are going various tasks.

The scene appears to be from a prison where Russian guards are doing their rounds and making sure that the prisoners are properly digging for ... something. We're not sure what it is just yet but they could be building a railway or looking for some treasure. Either way, we focus on one particular prisoner who seems to have had too much of his job.

The man takes a brief pause and takes off his hat. As we zoom in on his face, we finally get what we have all been waiting for since last year: Jim Hopper is alive and well (albeit missing his hair) and is now a prisoner of Russia.

There's not much to see in the teaser other than the reveal of the American's identity. However, you might also note that one of the Russian soldiers is played by Tom Wlaschiha, who is best known for his memorable performance as Jaqen H'ghar in Game of Thrones.

Stranger Things 4 has not yet been given an official release date. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
