It has been a long wait but Stranger Things Season 3 is finally out on Netflix. Not surprisingly, the residents of Hawkins are once again in trouble and it's up to Eleven and the gang to save the entire town. But can they manage to save Billy Hargrove?

In Stranger Things 3, Billy becomes the one person that the kids are afraid of throughout the second season. In the premiere episode Chapter One: Suzie, Do You Copy?, he is pulled into a basement in the steel mill where he becomes possessed by the Mind Flayer. By the second episode, Billy is already working for the Mind Flayer and abducting people to feed to the monster.
It doesn't take long before El realizes that there is something terribly wrong with Billy but her discovery comes at a price: The Mind Flayer finally makes a connection with her and forces Billy to try and abduct her so she could be fed to the monster. However, El manages to reach out to Billy by recounting his happiest memory.
In the end, Billy sacrifices himself to save El's life but is this truly the conclusion of his story? There is a possibility that Billy had the same fate as El in the first season finale and could still be alive somewhere. Could this mean that Billy will return in Season 4?
