Stranger Things Season 2 Production Teases Returning Cast

There's a lot of clue in the upside down—photo of the cast of Stranger Things.

The show's official Twitter has teased that the series is already back in production. This included an upside-down photo of the younger cast members getting ready for production.

We see the gang Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Noah Schnapp, and Caleb McLaughlin. The older cast members Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, and Joe Keery are also present. For those who have been worried as to whether or not Eleven will be back; Millie Bobby Brown is smack dab in the middle of the photo, ready to read her script.

Note that the photo does not show Winona Ryder (who plays Joyce) and David Harbour (who plays Chief Jim Hopper). Of course, they are already set to return for the second season, so no worries on that.

The two newcomers, Sadie Sink and Dacre Montgomery are also in the photo. Sink will be portraying the skateboarding tomboy Max, while Montgomery will be playing Max's stepbrother Billy, supposedly a charismatic guy who may be another rival to Steve (and maybe Jonathan?).

Stranger Things is directed by the Duff Brothers. It will be back for its second season for a nine-episode run next year.
