Netflix finally released the countdown for Stranger Things Season 4, dropping a cryptic teaser counting down to the special reveal happening tomorrow. Fans have been waiting for nearly three years since the last season of Strange Things, which makes the anticipation for the upcoming season at a fever pitch. The streamer is making fans very excited with the release of a 24-countdown clock video for the fans of the show to speculate about, and if you’re a really avid fan, you may even find some clues to what’s going to be announced tomorrow.

In the countdown teaser released, the most notable items are an old-school clock and some spooky sound effects playing in the background. The locations of the clocks appear to change, even though they all show up in several populated shopping centers. The spectators can be seen walking around and some of them even stare at the clocks, while also going about their busy days.

In an episode of the Netflix podcast Present Company With Krista Smith, the creators of the hit Netflix show, the Duffer brothers, spoke about the fan theories and expectations and also confirmed that some of the fan theories have actually been correct. "I think they'll be happy when they see it. It's very, very long, which is why it's taking us a very long time," Ross Duffer said, saying that some theories circulating online have been "startlingly" accurate. "I'm constantly impressed with how sharp the fans are, and how quickly they're able to put something together with very, very little information."

For now, the only known information on the upcoming Stranger Things Season 4 is it will start six months after the events that happen at the end of Season 3, with the main cast split up at different places. While several of the cast remains in Hawkins, Indiana, Eleven and the Byers family have moved to California. Also, Chief Hopper seems to be stuck in Russia. With all the given information, it is impressive that fans could figure out what’s happening.

Netflix’s Stranger Things Season 4 is set to be split into two volumes. The first volume of Season 4 is set to be released on May 27, while the second volume is set to be released on July 1.
