Stranger Things: Joe Keery Is Exhausted Of Fans Gushing Over Steve's Iconic Hairdo

There's no doubt that fans worshipped one of the mainstays of Netflix's critically-acclaimed TV show Stranger Things, Steve Harrington, played by Joe Keery.

Aside from his stunning looks, Steve's character narrative throughout the four-season run of Stranger Things brought a tremendous improvement, starting as a bully to now being known as the Hawkins gang's babysitter.

But one of the foremost aspects that fans admire about the character is Steve's distinct yet iconic hairdo, which Keery surprisingly finds exhausting.

Joe Keery Shares Bold Comment About Fans Raving About Steve's Iconic Hair

In a recent interview with The Daily Beast, Keery admits that he's exhausted from being constantly asked about his hair. According to him, there are lots of aspects of his career that people could focus on aside from his iconic hair. See Keery's full quote below:

"It’s really ridiculous. It’s not something I have control over. It’s just internet fodder that’s carried over and is now attached to me. I can’t really knock it. I have a career, so I have to be like, “Who cares? I’ll take it.” But it’s also not something I care about at all. Still, people seem to really care about it and fixate on it, for whatever reason. It’s so stupid, honestly."

What's Next For Joe Keery and What Will Happen to Steve Harrington in Stranger Things Season 5?

Keery may be exhausted from the exaggerated attention his hair is getting from Stranger Things, but now that the actor is recently confirmed to a pivotal role in Fargo Season 5, he might have the opportunity to start with a blank slate.

Going back to Stranger Things, fans can absolutely expect Keery's Steve to return in the upcoming Stranger Things Season 5. Sadly, Season 4 witnessed the Hawkins gang's loss to the menacing Vecna, and their city now suffers the consequences. However, now that the gang has reunited, fans can surely expect an epic finale as they reclaim Hawkins from Vecna.

For now, Netflix hasn't yet announced an official release window for Stranger Things Season 5. Meanwhile, Stranger Things Season 4 is available to stream on Netflix.
