Stranger Things Actor Finn Wolfhard Wants to Play Young Ben Solo for Star Wars

There might not be any room for Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) now that the Skywalker saga has come to an end with the release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, but it looks like Stranger Things actor Finn Wolfhard would want to play a young Ben Solo in any kind of Star Wars project.

Wolfhard just recently went undercover on Reddit for a video with GQ and during the program, the Ghostbusters: Afterlife star came across a fan on Twitter who thought that the actor would make an excellent young Ben Solo in a new Star Wars project. It looks like fans aren't the only ones who imagine Wolfhard as a young Kylo Ren – the actor's thought of the role too.

"It is not just you, I would love to do that," Wolfhard replied to a fan on Twitter who thought the actor would make an excellent Ben Solo in a GQ video. "But the series just ended. But, ya know, I'm a free agent, Marvel. And, Disney, I'm around. Marvel doesn't handle any ... well, it's owned by Disney. Anyways, whatever, hire me."

The Skywalker saga might have already come to an end, but Wolfhard's always around if ever Lucasfilm decides to work on a series featuring a younger version of Kylo Ren. A young Ben Solo series isn't that difficult to imagine – after all, the comics and novelizations featuring the character all reveal a complex origin. We'd love to see Kylo Ren's back story on the big or small screen.

How about you? Would you like to see a Kylo Ren series? Do you think Wolfhard would be great for the part? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section below.
