James Gunn is currently in the middle of working on The Suicide Squad with the film's production having just recently moved from Atlanta, Georgia to Panama. While there a number of photos taken from the set of the Suicide Squad reboot sequel have started making the rounds online, we know very little about what Gunn has planned for his very first DC comic book movie.
One of the biggest questions that fans have is the role that the film's youngest cast member, Storm Reid, might play in The Suicide Squad. Though Disney's A Wrinkle In Time child actress can't really say what character she's playing in the film, it seems like she didn't really spend that much time in production.
Speaking in an interview with Collider, Reid was asked to describe her time on The Suicide Squad and her experience working together with Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn.
"(James Gunn's) incredible, the nicest person but also super-duper talented," the young actress told the entertainment news outlet, "I have filmed my piece in Suicide Squad 2 so I can't wait to see that all come together. I was a fan of the franchise before so now to be a part of it is really cool."
Reid didn't really spend that much time filming in the movie, so that must mean that she won't get to appear that much in the film. We wonder how important her character might be to the comic book movie. Let's wait for more news about The Suicide Squad.
The Suicide Squad is set to premiere on August 6, 2021.
