Steve Rogers Has Unexpected Appearance in Hawkeye Series

Credit: Marvel Studios

Steve Rogers' future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe remains a huge mystery to a lot of fans and despite the fact that Phase Four has already produced several spinoff series that all take place post-Avengers: Endgame, it almost feels like we're still being kept in the dark regarding the true status of the former Captain America. Heck, even The Falcon and the Winter Soldier only made a few references about Rogers but never directly addressed the matter.

MCU Fans are Loving Hawkeye Series' Holiday Vibe

Sure, it's technically not an actual appearance from the real Cap himself but instead, just an "actor" portraying the role of Steve Rogers in the said musical but still, the Broadway tribute for Cap seemingly gives fans a major hint about his true status in the MCU. I mean, tributes are normally held for people who are no longer with us physically so this could mean that Steve is actually dead in the current timeline.

However, it's worth mentioning that Chris Evans reportedly signed a new deal with Marvel Studios that will see him return in an undisclosed project so yeah, I guess Rogers' status in the franchise will remain shrouded by intrigue for now.

Hawkeye will begin streaming on November 24 only on Disney+.
