Star Wars Writer Reveals Snoke Palpatine Connection was Teased Before The Rise of Skywalker Premiere

One of the huge surprises in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker was undoubtedly the revelation that Supreme Leader Snoke had been a puppet controlled by Emperor Palpatine in an effort to bring Ben Solo into the Dark Side. However, it looks like the truth had already been revealed in a Star Wars comic book.

Writer Tom Taylor recently took to Twitter to share some key moments from the Star Wars comic book Age of Resistance: Supreme Leader Snoke, which featured Snoke and Kylo Ren heading for Dagobah. In this particular scene, Snoke drops a major hint about his connection to Palpatine. Check it out below.

"Hey, #StarWars #RiseofSkywalker fans. Here's key scene a lot of people missed from our Age of Resistance: Snoke story. When Snoke took #KyloRen to Dagobah and dropped THIS about Luke..." Taylor wrote.

It does feature some interesting dialogue from Snoke, which strongly suggested he already had his eye on Luke Skywalker a long time ago. It's certainly in line with Palpatine's plans for the young Luke although these were stopped by Darth Vader. Nevertheless, it was a clue that Star Wars fans overlooked in the past.

Snoke has been a huge mystery for fans since he was first introduced in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Although many believed that he appears to be connected to Palpatine, nobody really took it too seriously until everything was confirmed in The Rise of Skywalker.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is still screening in theaters worldwide.
