There's only less than a month away until The Rise of Skywalker makes its debut. And until then, Star Wars fans will have to wait and see how the Skywalker Saga plays out and if we'll ever get to see Kylo Ren's redemption. But earlier this week, a new Episode IX TV Spot released which featured new clips from the upcoming movie, as well as new photos and covers; and we might have missed a minor detail that could potentially hint to Kylo's redemption.

A Redditor under the username sross43 made a theory regarding Kylo Ren leaving the dark side based off of his hair. Yes, you read that right, HIS HAIR. It is known that the character's appearance (especially in big franchises like these) reflects his/her personality and state within the story. The user pointed out that Kylo Ren seems to have two distinct hairstyles in the film.

In the trailer, Kylo Ren and Rey have a battle on the Death Star in the middle of a rainstorm. We see that Kylo Ren was soaked while this was happening. The Redditor thinks that Kylo will be redeemed on that same location because, once he dried off, his hair is pulled back in contrast to his hair and bangs hanging over his face in previous movies and scenes. You can check out the comparison photos here.

In addition, the user theorizes that the leaked image of Kylo in Pasaana was actually from the first act of the film and is not the location where he gets redeemed at, as opposed to what some speculated. It was also pointed out that the pulled back hairstyle was also seen on Kylo Ren on the recently released Entertainment Weekly cover.

In conclusion, the user's theory suggests that Kylo Ren will get a redemption act based on his hair that was pulled back, his face is clearly seen, his bangs gone, and has a somewhat refined expression.
