Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga 4K Box Set Confirmed Ahead of The Rise of Skywalker Premiere


Have you been wondering what you could possibly do after the premiere of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker? How about getting your hands on a massive 27-disc 4K box set including all of the films in the Skywalker Saga? You can do just that by next year.

A new report from IGN reveals that Best Buy Canada has unveiled the Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Box Set that will include every movie from the original, prequel, and sequel trilogy. That's nine films spread across 27 different discs and no, it doesn't come cheap. The box set will retail for $329.99, which means that each movie will cost about $36.

According to the report, Best Buy Canada originally listed the Skywalker Saga Box Set as being available by March 31, 2020. However, the site has since removed the date. Nevertheless, the box set, which includes 4K Ultra HD and Blu-Ray Combo, could be officially announced soon after the premiere of The Rise of Skywalker.

The synopsis for The Rise of Skywalker reads as follows:

"A year after the events of The Last Jedi, the remnants of the Resistance face the First Order once again—while reckoning with the past and their own inner turmoil. Meanwhile, the ancient conflict between the Jedi and the Sith reaches its climax, bringing the Skywalker saga to a definitive end."

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker hits theaters on December 20.
