Star Wars: The Siege of Mandalore Continues with New Clip from ‘The Phantom Apprentice’

Star Wars: The Clone Wars is down to its last few episodes, and fans are finally happy that we're now at the Siege of Mandalore arc. The next episode is title The Phantom Apprentice, and we have a new clip teasing Ahsoka's clash with Maul.

Here's the official description:

Ahsoka leads Republic clones to confront Maul's forces on Mandalore, while Maul senses the impending chaos and makes a calculated play to ensure his own survival in "The Phantom Apprentice."

While everyone is excited to see Ahsoka best Maul in the series, we all kind of know that this is all building up to the destruction of the Jedi Order with Order 66. The timeline of the series is going to be overlapping with Revenge of the Sith, and it's going to be interesting to see just how Ahsoka handles it when the troopers start shooting on the Jedi.

Though some people weren't a fan of the arc with the Martez sisters, we're finally back to the storyline where people actually care about the characters. We don't know exactly how things will end, but I'm crossing my fingers that we see the fall of Maul and maybe the start of his crime syndicate Crimson Dawn. That would be a nice build-up to Solo: A Star Wars Story.
